Recorded in the summer of 2010 in North San Juan, CA. This is an expression of our love for Qawwali music. I was inspired to make this recording from the suggestions and encouragement of many, including the musicians found here. Vijay Krsna is a fine musician of hindustani music and has had a love of Qawwali since childhood. Paskal Hudon is a performer of Qawwali and middle eastern music. Nitai Prem plays alongside Vijay in their group “The Kirtaniyas” and is a singer and multi instrumentalist of calibar. Endless Gratitude goes to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Party, Sher Mehr Ali, Baba Farid, Pakpattan, Abrar and Dildar Hussain, the many great Qawwals and Sufis of Pakistan, Tahir Qawwal, Aminah Chisty, and all of Fannah Fi Allah Qawwali Party.
